WELCOME TO REUNION
Walking into a new place — especially a church — can feel like a lot. Will I know what to do? Where do I sit? What if everyone already knows each other?
Here's everything you need to know before Sunday, so the only thing you have to think about when you get here is finding a seat.
FIRST TIME?
We know visiting a church can feel like a big step—and you don’t need to have it all figured out. At REUNION, you’re welcome just as you are. Here’s what you can expect on a typical Sunday with us:

Come early for coffee. No awkward entrances. Come a few minutes early, grab a coffee, and settle in.
Music. We sing a few songs. Join in or just listen—whatever feels right for you.
Say hi (or don't). We take a few minutes to connect. Chat, or just take a breather. No pressure either way.
Kids. After the first couple songs, kids up to 5th grade head downstairs with their teachers for their own time.
Short message. Our teaching walks through Scripture and tries to connect it honestly to real life — usually 30 minutes.
Communion. Each week, we participate in a simple way of remembering Jesus together. Totally optional.
A final blessing. We end together, with a short prayer before heading back out into the week.

The Somerville Theatre sits right on the Red Line at the Davis Square stop—our venue is just steps away. The Crystal Ballroom has its own entrance, located between Mr. Crêpe and the main theater doors.

Look for the REUNION sign out front. Once inside, head up one level to the Crystal Ballroom—stairs and an elevator are both available.

On Sundays, metered and residential permit parking are free throughout Somerville. We’ve marked some good spots on the map, and you’re also welcome to use any of the nearby public lots at no cost.
REUNION is a non-denominational Christian church, which means we’re not affiliated with any one denomination. Our focus is on following Jesus, creating authentic community, and welcoming people from all backgrounds—whether you’ve been in church your whole life or you’re just exploring faith for the first time.
Yes. Most people here are somewhere on that spectrum. You don't need to have it figured out to show up — plenty of us don't.
Our gatherings are casual and friendly. Most people wear jeans and sneakers, but some like to dress up a little bit!
We don't pass a plate, and we won't call on you or ask you to introduce yourself. We do talk about giving during announcements — but that's for people who call REUNION home, not for guests. If you're visiting, there's nothing we're asking of you.
Not at all! Communion is something we do each week as a way to reflect on Jesus’ love. If you’d like to participate, you’re welcome to, but if you’d rather observe, that’s totally fine too. No pressure—just come as you are.
Yes! REUNION Kids is for kids up to 5th grade. We love having families worship together, so kids stay with you for the first set of songs — then a teacher leads them downstairs to their own space for the rest of the morning.
You're welcome to walk them down yourself. Registration happens before the gathering, so look for the check-in table when you arrive.
We do not currently offer a livestream of our gatherings. You can listen to the audio of the Sunday teachings on our REUNION Podcast.
Just fill out a Connection Card and we can connect you! We also have a weekly newsletter that reminds the community of events and activities they can join.

Reunion KIds
While you're in the gathering, your kids are in good hands. REUNION Kids isn't just childcare — it's a space where kids learn, ask questions, and hear age-appropriate stories from the Bible in ways that are honest and fun, not preachy.
Our hope is simple: that kids feel safe, have a good time, and start to get curious about who Jesus is — at whatever pace makes sense for them.

Thinking about visiting? You don’t need to sign up, but if you let us know ahead of time we’d love to welcome you and give you a small gift when you arrive.
