Lent for Kids
We want to share a few resources with you on how to communicate Lent to your family.
Reunion Kids
We are excited to partner with families to teach children how to love and follow Jesus. As we continue to reopen our classrooms, we are so excited to have our classroom for crawlers through elementary. Below we have more information on what to expect on Sunday mornings and ways stay connected. Scroll to learn more information about Reunion Kids!
If you are new with us, or are looking for an old favorite, you can check out our videos we have posted for Reunion Kids Sunday Gathering and Toddler Tuesday to watch them anytime!
Stay in the loop! We send out a monthly email called the Parents Loop, where we share current information about what’s going on in Reunion Kids, upcoming events, links, etc. To subscribe to the Parents Loop, click here.
REUNIONkids participates in worship through music in the gathering with their families. After worship in the main gathering, they will be excused to their classes where they learn about a Bible based topic, ask questions, work through activities, and build relationships with their peers and leaders.
The REUNIONkids area is for leaders, helpers, kids, and parents only. We will ask those without children to please exit for the safety of our kids. As parents arrive, they will check in their children at the connections table where they will use the digital check in system that will print a name tag for the child with a matching tag for the parent and their diaper bag. At the end of the gathering, the parent should show their matching tag when picking up their child.
If a child exhibits any of these symptoms, they will not be permitted to participated in REUNIONKids:
Food
For the safety of those with allergies or dietary restrictions we will not provide children with snacks during their time at Reunion Kids. Parents of infants and toddlers can pack a snack and ask us to feed their child, however, please ensure it is a peanut free snack. Please ensure you keep their sippy cup or bottle and food away from other children. On occasion, the elementary-aged kids may have special parties or celebrations that involve food. Parents will be notified in advance and will be reminded the morning their child may be given food that day.
Screening is required for all staff and volunteers working with children. Screening includes completing an application and having a completed criminal background check on file. If you call Reunion home, this is an excellent opportunity to jump in and serve as a part of our Reunion Community, and make a difference in the lives of our children! If you haven't thought about serving with kids before, we invite you to reach out to Michelle for more information about the various roles that you can serve in Reunion Kids.
